What it is
Since 1932 Ischia, on July 26th, celebrate St Anne. The festival takes place in the "sky" of a submerged city, the ancient Roman port of Aenaria. Allegorical boats parade, the Aragonese Castle in flames and a grandiose fireworks display. A unique event in the world, whose participation is coveted and considered a fortune.
